 CHRISTMAS CONCERTS and singing events December 2018

Friday November 30 - 
7.30pm  Dent Memorial Hall - Folk Carols concert - Tickets £8.50 from Sedbergh TIC, via phone or email www.lakelandvoice.co.uk or if any remaining from the door. (Part of Folk Carols harmony singing weekend with workshops, concerts, ceilidh, singing walk, accommodation, meals etc.)


Saturday December 1 - 
10-12.30pm and 2-4.30pm: Dent Meditation Centre - Folk Carols workshops
12.30pm Pub carols in the Sun Inn, Dent
7pm  Dent Memorial Hall - Folk Carols Ceilidh with Lucia's fabulous festive feast, visiting choirs, ceilidh band and caller. Tickets £12.50  www.lakelandvoice.co.uk  (Part of Folk Carols harmony singing weekend with workshops, concerts, ceilidh, singing walk, accommodation, meals etc.)

Sunday December 2 - 
10am - Dent Meditation Centre - Carols from afar workshop.
12.30  Dent Memorial Hall - lunch followed by singing walk up Dentdale. 

Tuesday December 4 -
9pm Singing in the Badger Bar, Rydal (between Ambleside and Grasmere) - with Lakeland Voices and Penrith Community Choir. 

Saturday December 8 - Settle Carlisle Folk Carols 
9am - Folk Carols workshop in Langwathby village hall, then singing in Langwathby, Appleby and Ribblehead stations, Langwathby station cafe, Station Inn at Ribblehead, Golden Lion in Settle - and on the train  - with The Settle Carlisle Singers, Lakeland Voices, Penrith Community Choir, Settle Voices and singers from the Keighley Road Jolly Wassailers. 

Tuesday December 11 - 
8pm  Strickland Arms, Sizergh near Kendal. Informal folk carols concert (and many to join in with) with Lakeland Voices, Bentham Voices and Penrith Community Choir in this wonderfully welcoming pub. Free. 

Saturday December 15 - 
12.30pm Unitarian church hall by the market place in Kendal - folk carol workshop round the open fire, under the Christmas tree - then singing supper with concert and a carolling walk singing at the doorsteps of cottages cradled in the dale - and more often than not, round the fires of the kindly folk who live there. 

Sunday December 16 - 
2.30pm  Cautley Church, Cautley near Sedbergh - The Cautley Carollers and other well known carols to join in with. Free
